Across manufacturing, energy, logistics and other areas of business, we start with the problems that take up your team’s time. We build people’s skills, test ideas in small steps and expand the solutions that prove useful in everyday work.
A three-month programme to agree where to start and what should come next.
For teams taking their first step or bringing scattered AI efforts into a shared direction.
Scope of the engagement
Shared priorities, data-use rules, selected training, the first internal champions, an opportunity list and a roadmap. Where data and scope allow, we aim for 2–3 small implementations.
An embedded engineer works alongside your people, with an ALTAI AI Lead supporting technical direction and decisions.
For teams that want to test opportunities regularly and turn them into working solutions.
Scope of the engagement
A monthly engagement covering observation, problem definition, short prototypes, small automations, office hours and usage tracking. Larger work is scoped separately.
Learning paths built around what each role can put to use in its own work.
For organisations that want AI to become a team practice, beyond the expertise of a few individuals.
Scope of the engagement
Separate content for frontline staff, office teams, builders and leaders; sessions in the workplace and preparation for internal champions. Problems raised during training feed the opportunity list.
One or two days of building together around real problems brought forward by employees.
For teams bringing business knowledge and technical skills together to produce ideas they can test.
Scope of the engagement
A call for problems, team formation, prototyping and user feedback. Where scope and data allow, we aim to develop 3–5 candidates for pilots and select the next steps together.
A dedicated project team for a defined development need, or for work that expands beyond the embedded engineer’s remit.
For solutions spanning multiple systems or requiring sustained development or continuous operation.
Scope of the engagement
Architecture, data preparation, system integrations, custom models where needed, user acceptance and production rollout. The embedded engineer transfers the context gathered during discovery to the delivery team.
Additional expertise where the work requires it, scoped to the need.
For teams resolving a specific technical need that stands in the way of existing work.
Scope of the engagement
Data preparation, access and security rules, custom model work, model operations (MLOps), platform setup or additional engineering. These services are scoped separately as needed.
02 / FIELD ENGINEERINGFDE / ALTAI
How does an embedded engineer work?
A forward-deployed engineer, or FDE, works alongside your team to understand the problem where it happens. Who will use the solution, how long does the work take today, where is the data and what counts as success? We establish these first, then test the most critical assumption with a small experiment.
ALTAI’s responsibility
The ALTAI engineer handles discovery, prototyping, small automations and pilot coordination.
The AI Lead supports technical direction; ALTAI retains engineering management.
We compare usage and business results against the baseline.
We treat a solution pattern as a reusable recipe only after it has been validated in real work. We also check whether it fits the new context.
Your contribution
A process owner who can help set priorities and acceptance criteria.
Access to the necessary data within agreed security and access rules.
Time from the people doing the work for observation, testing and feedback.
When does it become a separate project?
Bounded experiments and small automations are completed within the FDE engagement. Work involving multiple systems, extensive data preparation, custom models, continuous service, a sustained development team or a substantial production rollout calls for a separate project proposal. We agree the scope, budget and decision to proceed with you.
03 / WORKING CADENCE
01 / Every week
Observation, short experiments and user feedback. What we learn determines the next step.
02 / Every month
We review priorities and results together. Work beyond the current engagement’s capacity gets a separate discussion of scope and investment.
03 / Every quarter
We compare the value delivered with baseline measurements. We expand what works in use and stop what does not produce results.
04 / ADOPTION & RESULTS
Measure success in the work it improves.
Before an experiment, we record the baseline and agree what success means. We then track whether people use the solution, whether it operates safely and how the chosen business measure changes. We select the measures together to suit the process.

05 / THE FOUNDATIONS WE BUILD ON
Yada. isanagent.
We configure data and routing rules through Yada, and agent tasks and tool access through isanagent. Our open-source components support document processing, retrieval and model training; the connections are developed for your system.
